Dr. Milward is the Providence Service Corporation Professor and director of the School of Public Administration and Policy in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. He is jointly appointed in the Departments of Management and Organizations, Political Science, and Sociology. He is widely published and much of his recent research has focused on understanding how to efficiently and effectively manage networks of nonprofit organizations that jointly produce public services. Milward is a past president of the Public Management Research Association and the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
