Wallace Wilkins, PhD

 

Wallace Wilkins serves as conflict mediator, organizational coach and personal consultant for successful leaders. He offers the experience of a 30-year career in psychology, mediation and organizational consulting. Wally speaks and writes about powerful strategies for individuals and organizations to create low-stress, low-conflict, high achievement.

 

As Senior Consultant and Master Trainer for the Conflict Resolution Resource Center, Wally conducts on-site mediations, as well as training programs to resolve employee conflicts early and prevent their recurrence. His one-on-one coaching helps executives, managers and entrepreneurs take risks and take charge without unnecessary worry, procrastination or regret. Anger abatement and change management are among his specialties. He shows organizations how to implement specific strategies that increase employee productivity and decrease workplace negativity. These strategies reduce the financial and emotional costs involved when negativity, anger and unresolved conflicts escalate into expensive grievances, litigation, disciplinary action or even violence. Wally's practical, uplifting keynotes and skillshops are designed to enhance moods, relationships, and performance at work--particularly during periods of rapid change.

 

A graduate of the University of Washington, Wally began his career as a teacher, scholar and administrator in university settings. He has over 45 publications in refereed journals. He has delivered training programs for the State of Washington, the United States Postal Service, the Boeing Company, Microsoft, Nintendo, and the Northwest Public Power Association. Globally, he has served organizations in Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Chile and Malaysia.
