Karen Zaugg has served over 25 years in management roles in higher education, including Executive Office administration. Her current position is in Facilities Services at the University of Washington, where she directs organization improvement, human resources, and client and public relations for the service organization of over 950 staff. With degrees from Wittenberg University and Ohio State University, Karen's PhD is in Higher Education Administration from the University of Washington. Her academic work focused on group processes, leadership and organization culture. She is also a certified mediator, and an experienced facilitator and trainer; specialties include conflict resolution, management development, and interpersonal skill building.
