About Cascade
Public-service leaders today face a critical challenge: managing complex organizations and relationships in an era of scarce resources and competing priorities. This challenge requires senior managers to maintain a state of continuous learning. It is no longer enough to supplement an early university education with on-the-job experience. Senior leaders are recognizing they need more. Leaders of government agencies and nonprofit agencies are now embracing the idea of continued learning at the executive level.
Cascade Executive Programs, founded in 1984, is the executive education arm of the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington, and is a nationally recognized education provider for the public and nonprofit sectors.
Mission Statement
Cascade is a nationally recognized management training center offering over 25 different leadership courses for senior and midlevel managers. Cascade programs are designed to help on-the-job managers and leaders develop their skills, make their programs more effective, and increase customer and employee satisfaction.
